Hands-On With PS4-Vita Remote Play, Vita TV, and Slim Vita 2000

I have to say I was far more impressed with Sony's new devices than I thought I would be. Here's a rundown of what I experienced with the new Vita, the PS Vita TV, and PS4 remote play at the Tokyo Game Show.
PS4 Remote Play With Vita
I played Knack on a PS4, using a Vita 200 as my controller, and it worked without flaw. The new Vita’s LCD screen displayed exactly what was on the TV, and at no point did my movements feel slowed down; the user experience was largely the same as it was when I played Knack using the DualShock 4. I looked down and used the Vita as my screen sometimes, but naturally, my eyes always wandered back towards the HDTV. The Vita’s screen wasn’t necessarily bad, but compared to a large, 1080p HDTV right in front of me, there was going to be an obvious preference. This seems to be a nice sign that, at least until you get the dough for multiple DualShock 4's, you can use a Vita as your second controller in some games.
Here's a video of the lady who played Knack before me. She's using a Vita as her PS4 controller.

PlayStation Vita TV I played the action RPG Soul Sacrifice Delta on Sony’s Vita TV, in a group with four people. My controller was a PS3 DualShock 3, and I was playing on an HDTV, while my three teammates were playing on Vita 2000s. The link up was flawless, and I never noticed any lag — and you know me, I was watching for it like a hawk. A hawk that watches things like a Hindman. I probably looked insane the way I kept looking frantically back and forth from my TV screen to my neighbors’ Vita screens, checking for the slightest hint of slowdown. I never saw any, though. When a companion fell, I even watched his screen to control my character; it worked just fine. The three Vitas plus Vita TV linked together even better than I’d expected.

How Soul Sacrifice Delta is changing by letting fate decide

Added: 23.09.2013 9:18 | 12 views | 0 comments

An update to PlayStation Vita game Soul Sacrifice is due to hit Japan early next year, bringing it with it new monsters to battle, refined graphics, new characters and costumes and improved AI. Perhaps the most significant changes coming to the new version, named Soul Sacrifice Delta, are the introduction of a new faction, Grim, and the choice to neither save or sacrifice your fallen enemies.
